Principal AnJiangying speaks at the forum of the "Chinese + Vocational Skills" project of the 2019 International Chinese Education Conference

On December 9, the 2019 International Chinese Language Education Conference was grandly opened in Changsha.Chinese Vice Premier Sun Chunlan attended the opening ceremony of the Chinese Education Conference and delivered a keynote speech.Du Jiahao, Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, and Chen Baosheng, Minister of Education, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.Our school's President Jiangying An, Vice President Zhou Yan, and Deputy Director of the International Office Meng Qing attended the conference.

Chen Ziji, Director of the Department of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education, Cao Jiang, Director of the Human Resources Development Cooperation Division of the International Cooperation Department of the National International Development Cooperation Agency, and the first-level inspection of the Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Commerce Member Zheng Chao and others delivered an important speech, and President An Jiangying of our school delivered a keynote speech at the forum.

President An Jiangying introduced our school’s participation in the “Belt and Road” and exploring the overseas pilot "1+X" certificate system for vocational colleges.He pointed out that our school has the basic conditions to implement the "1X" project overseas, and has sufficient preparation and sufficient experience in vocational education standards, teaching materials development, team and teacher reserves.Afterwards, President An put forward ideas on how to learn from the domestic experience in implementing the "1X" certification system and carry out the "Chinese language (vocational skills) level certificate" pilot work in Confucius Institutes in Africa and countries along the "Belt and Road".In the Confucius Institute Headquarters, schools, companies and industries, we will carry out two "1+X" projects of academic education and non-academic education, strengthen school-enterprise industry cooperation, realize overseas "1X" training bases and teachers sharing, and cultivate localization The teachers put forward feasibility opinions and suggestions on the use of modular curriculum learning methods.

In "along the way" construction projects, our school and Nonferrous Metals Group and other "go out" overseas business closecut cooperation, collaboration with other universities, "going out", the construction of China - Zambia Vocational and Technical College, to create "Chinese + Vocational Skills" Confucius Classroom, established the Zambia Education and Training Center of China National Color Group, explored the "four-in-one" education and training model of the National Open University Zambia Overseas Study Center, and accumulated a lot of experience. Chen Ziji, Director of the Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education, spoke highly of President An's speech.He pointed out that the Confucius Classroom opened by our school in Zambia can be used as a pilot platform to promote the "Industrial Chinese + Vocational Skills + Certificate" model, and gradually build this model into the "Beijing Institute of Technology Model".Principal An stated that our school will definitely serve the "Belt and Road" initiative more actively and contribute more wisdom of Beijing Institute of Technology to the promotion of the "Industrial Chinese + Vocational Skills + Certificate" model overseas.
