The Center aims to serve as a think tank resource for the international development research of BPC. Additionally, it supports the college's endeavors to enhance its educational capabilities and facilitate the high-quality integration of industry and education, advance vocational undergraduate programs, and offer policy recommendations for the international development of China's vocational education sector. The institution focuses on research on "Chinese+TVET", international standards for vocational education, regional studies, overseas education, social services and training, and international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. By integrating high-quality resources both within and outside the college and bringing together renowned experts and scholars from the industry, the Center is committed to playing an active role in areas such as academic research, subject studies, university-enterprise collaboration, talent development, standard formulation, and policy consultation. Additionally, it is dedicated to participating in and supporting international capacity cooperation and providing decision-making consultation and intellectual support for vocational colleges that collaborate globally with domestic enterprises to promote industrial upgrading, thereby elevating international vocational education to new heights.

The Journal of Vocational Chinese Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Journal") is an academic collection hosted by BPC, published by Social Sciences Academic Press (China), and fully indexed by China National Knowledge Infrastructure. The Journal is published biannually, with academic support from the Chinese Pinyin Teaching Research Branch of the Society on Modernization of Chinese Language and the Beijing Language and Culture Association. The Journal is dedicated to sharing the latest academic advancements in vocational Chinese education and teaching, as well as "Chinese + TVET". It aims to foster academic exchanges and knowledge innovation, provide in-depth analysis of current topics related to the integrated development of international Chinese education and vocational education in the new era, and present readers with brand-new academic perspectives. Under the national strategy for the overseas development of vocational education, and with the strong support of experts and scholars, the Journal will advance the international development of BPC's vocational education and elevate the research on the professional development of international Chinese education to the next level.

Mr. Liu announced the list of experts and researchers hired by the Center and presented them with letters of appointment. Following this, five experts—Huang Kan, Song Kai, Huo Lijuan, Zong Cheng, and Jiang Liping—gave speeches on behalf of the invited experts. Experts agreed that BPC was a pioneer in establishing a research center dedicated to advancing vocational education on a global scale and launching a journal focused on vocational Chinese education in China. The college should prioritize top-level design, promote the integration of various resources, and advance the application of digital technology. Meanwhile, it is crucial to optimize faculty structure, enhance the international competencies of teachers, focus on the cultivation of international students, and foster a multicultural environment. Building on this foundation, it is necessary to conduct substantial practical research, including case studies, model studies, comparative research, and standard research, and establish a "Chinese+TVET" community. Its endeavor will support China's larger diplomatic objectives as a major country by promoting vocational education worldwide, serving as both a leader and a role model. The unveiling ceremony was chaired by Zhou Yan, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and Vice President of BPC.
