The China International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as CIFTIS) was held in Beijing from September 2 to September 6, and the theme of education services was one of the “highlights” of the nine major themes of CIFTIS.The theme of exhibition of education servicesthis yearis “leading the future with high quality education—opening up a new track for development and creating new driving force for development”, dividing into three major themes of “international exchange and cooperation”, “artificial intelligence and technological empowerment”, and “education services, practice and innovation”.It was held in Hall No.5 of Shougang Park from September 2 to 6. The area occupied expands from 3,300 square meters last year to 6,600 square meters. It gives a comprehensive display of new technologies, new achievements, new scenarios and new forms of education services from three aspects, i.e., international exchange and regional cooperation, artificial intelligence and technological empowerment, and education services, practice and innovation.

As an outstanding representative of vocational colleges, our College has participated in CIFTIS Education Summit Forum, education servicesthematic exhibition and the thematic activities of internationalization of vocational education. This is the fourth consecutive time that our College has been invited to attend CIFTIS. The Party Committee of the College attaches great importance to it, so led by the International Department (responsible for overall planning), with concerted efforts and close collaboration of the Publicity Department, CCYL committee, Dual High-level Office, School of Electromechanical Engineering, School of Architecture, Surveying and Mapping Engineering, School of Information Engineering, School of Humanity, Law and Management, and other relevant divisions and schools of the College, the exhibition area layout, forum meetings, achievements recommendation, negotiations and signing and other activities of the education servicesof CIFTIS were successfully accomplished.

This exhibition was carried out in online and offline halls simultaneously through a variety of means, such as excellent pictures and their accompanying essays, physical display, exchanges and interactions, which fully demonstrated the excellence of Beijing Polytechnic College.The online exhibition hall fully displays the overall results of ourCollege’s “special high-level” and “dual high-level” constructionand the fruits of reform and development that our College has achieved in recent years, reflecting its “high-end, quality, information-based and international” school-running positioning.In the offline exhibition area, the overall school-running conditions, “dual high-level” construction and the outstanding achievements made in international school running operations were displayed through eight modules, i.e., “innovate personnel training mode, build a talent cultivation base”, “build a technical skills platform, highlight the science and technology service ability”, “establish the best and exemplary standard faculty, continuously optimize thedouble-competency teaching staff structure”, “open, integrated and shared standards, build an international brand of vocational education”, “for the development of the capital, build a high-level professional group”, “foster the integration of production and education, strengthen school-enterprise collaboration in education”, “mission-focused features, improve the service development capability”, and “speed up the construction of smart campus, promote the intellectualized reconstruction and digital transformation of teaching”, showing the style of vocational colleges in the capital and establishing a benchmark and example for the field of vocational education services trade.

Compared with previous years, there are innovative points and highlights in the offline exhibition hall of Beijing Polytechnic College this year. In addition to the display wall and physical display of the overseas teaching specialized standards, professional teaching materials and country study report, the dominant specialties and characteristic vocational skills programs of Beijing Polytechnic College were also displayed in the space of the area, including operation of intelligent robot, UAV application technology, intangible cultural heritage projects and award-winning projects in the national Internet + Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and other high-quality achievements, which were brilliant and interesting, attracting attention of countless visitors, making it a special feature of the education-themed exhibition area.

In addition, our College and Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) held a signing ceremony of “Chinese+TVET” cooperation project at the site ofthe internationalization activities of vocational education organized by Beijing Municipal Education Commission (hereinafter referred to as BMEC). Adhering to the principles of complementing each other's advantages and alliance between giants, our College and BLCU make joint efforts to build the “Chinese+TVET” project. We together promote “study in China” and “study in Beijing” and carry out joint construction and research in respects of co-cultivation of international students in China, “Chinese+TVET” college construction, “Chinese+TVET” training, education & teaching resources development, academic research, cultivation of teachers and many other fields. We innovate the international personnel training mode of “language and skill integration” and promote the high-quality integrative development of international Chinese language education and vocational education.
