在海外员工培训班开班仪式上的讲话

各位老师、各位学员：

Fellow teachers and trainees from Zambia:

     大家上午好！经过认真筹备，由中国有色矿业集团有限公司、北京工业职业技术学院、有色金属工业人才中心联合举办的中国有色矿业集团海外员工培训班今天开班了。首先，我代表中国有色集团向远道而来参加这次学习培训的学员表示热烈的欢迎！希望各位学员通过二十多天的学习和参观，能进一步增长知识、增长才干，回去以后为本单位，为中国有色集团海外事业发展做出更大的贡献。

Good Morning! After well preparation, China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group Overseas Employee Workshop begins today, the workshop is jointly hosted by China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNMC), Beijing Polytechnic College (BPC) and China Nonferrous Metal Industry Human Resource Center (CNMIHR). At first, on behalf of CNMC, I warmly welcome the trainees who come from far away to attend the training here. I hope that trough over 20 days of training and visit, you will gain much knowledge as well as ability, and when you return you will make greater contribution to your company and to the development of CNMC overseas industry.

   借此机会，我代表中国有色集团对有色金属工业人才中心的大力支持和帮助表示衷心的感谢！对北京工业职业技术学院为本次培训班提供良好的教学、生活条件及精心组织表示衷心的感谢！

这次培训是国家教育部“一带一路”走出去职业培训的试点项目，是中国有色集团、北京工业职业技术学院在赞比亚开展职业教育和员工培训项目中的一部分,旨在增进海外雇员对中国文化、中国技术、中国标准和中国有色集团的了解与认识，提升海外优秀雇员的能力水平。培训的课程主要涉及二个方面，一个是技术技能的学习，另一个是管理知识和了解中国文化。培训内容不仅有理论知识，而且还有实地考察，课程经过北工院精心安排，也有专业的翻译，具有较强的针对性、实效性。在座的各位是第一批学员，来自赞比亚企业，今后还会有集团公司在其他国家企业的员工来到北京参加培训。

This training is an experimental project of “The Belt and Road” and “Go Globally” vocational training by Ministry of Education of China, and a part of vocational education and employee training project in Zambia carried out by CNMC and BPC. It is designed to promote overseas employees to know more about Chinese culture, Chinese technologies, Chinese standards and CNMC, meanwhile to enhance abilities of excellent overseas employees. The training courses mainly involve in two aspects, one is the learning of technologies and skills, and the other is the learning of management and Chinese culture. The training content includes not only theoretic knowledge, but also filed visit. The courses are well planned by BPC and equipped with professional interpreters, presenting strong pertinence and effectiveness. Everyone present here are the first batch of trainees, coming from Zambian enterprises, and in the future there will be CNMC employees from other countries to come here and receive training.

中国有色矿业集团有限公司是国务院国资委直属的中央企业，是中国与世界各国合作开发有色金属矿产资源的重要企业，业务遍布80多个国家和地区，拥有各级境外企业78家，在赞比亚、刚果（金）、蒙古、缅甸、泰国等国家和地区建成并经营着一批标志性的矿业开发项目。中国有色集团在对外工程承包领域也树立了良好的品牌形象，是世界一流工程承包商，在“一带一路”沿线国家累计投资超过250亿元人民币，承建工程合同金额累计超过1000亿元人民币，为诸多国家的有色金属工业实现了“零的突破”。

CNMC is a central enterprise directly subordinate toState-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and a key enterprise for China to exploitnonferrous metal mineral resources jointly with other countries. Our business covers more than 80 countries and regions, and we have 78 overseas enterprises of different levels. We have establish and are operating iconic mining development projects in Zambia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mongolia, Myanmar, Thailand and more countries and regions. As one of the world leading project contractor, CNMC has established a remarkable brand image in the field of overseas project contracting, has invested over 25 billion yuan to countries along “The Belt and Road”, and the accumulative project contract amount exceeds 100 billion yuan, having helped many countries to achieve “the zero breakthrough” of nonferrous metal industry.

中国有色集团积极履行社会责任，在境外累计纳税额达7忆美金，提供各种捐助折合5000万美元。目前，中国有色集团拥有海外企业员工2万多人，这些员工是上述国家工业发展的有生力量，也是中国有色集团的宝贵财富。中国有色集团以员工本地化培养为原则，加大境外企业本土员工的培养力度，制定企业海外雇员的发展规划，搭建员工学习与发展的平台。这次培训就是一个良好的开始，中国有色矿业集团将不断加大员工培训规模，落实埃德加-伦古总统在视察中色非洲矿业公司时指出的“希望中色非矿进一步加强技术转移与赞方员工的培训、教育，让更多的赞比亚员工掌握矿山生产所需要的技能”的要求，为赞比亚工业化培养人才，为中赞世代友好打下坚实基础!

CNMC actively performs social responsibility, the accumulative overseas tax amount reaches 700 million dollars, and the worth of donation reaches 50 million dollars. At present, CNMC has more than 20 thousand overseas employees, and they are the effective strength of the industry development for the abovementioned countries, and also the precious wealth for CNMC. Taking employee localization foster as principle, CNMC increases investment to the foster of overseas local employees, makes overseas employee development plan, and establishes platforms for employee learning and developing. This training is a good start. CNMC will constantly enlarge the scale of employee training, and implements the requirement by President Edgar Lungu: “hoping that NFCA further enhances technology transfer and training and education of Zambian employees, and makes more Zambian employees master the skills for mine producing”. CNMC will foster more talents for Zambia’s industrialization, laying a solid foundation for China and Zambia long-lasting friendship.

我相信，在我们大家的共同努力下，这期培训班一定能够取得圆满成功，希望学员有所收获，不枉此行。利用这个机会，我也代表集团公司对参加培训的员工提几点要求：

I believe that through our joint efforts, the workshop will be successful. I hope that all trainees can gain a lot and make this visit meaningful. On behalf of CNMC, I’d like to take this opportunity point out several requirements to you:

一是转换角色，认真学习。各位学员从遥远的赞比亚来到北京，从企业的员工变成了学生，同时又在不同的国度，可能会有很多不适应的地方，希望各位同事珍惜这次机会，克服困难，迅速进入学习状态，通过学习了解中国文化，熟悉中国人的沟通和管理模式，提高自身能力。对每一专题、每一课程都要认真对待，务必弄懂弄通，真正理解掌握。

First, switch the role and study hard. You have come a long way from Zambia to Beijing, and switch from employee to student. In a different country, you may find it hard to adapt to many aspects. I hope that you cherish this opportunity, overcome difficulties, rapidly enter study status, learn about Chinese culture through study, get familiar with Chinese communication and management mode, and improve your abilities. Please take every subject and every course serious, thoroughly understand and master the knowledge.

二是遵守纪律，学以致用。展现企业风貌。各位同事来到北京工业职业技术学院参加培训，代表着中国有色集团的形象，代表着赞比亚的形象，希望各位同事严格遵守学校纪律，不迟到、不早退，不无故缺课，一切行动听指挥，确保取得实实在在的培训效果。

Second, obey disciplines, apply knowledge to practice, and present enterprise style.My fellow colleagues, you come to BPC to receive training, representing the image of CNMC and the image of Zambia. I hope you strictly obey the college’s disciplines, arrive on time, no early leave, and no absence, obey orders for all actions, and make sure the training achieves the real effect.

三是注意安全，确保平安。北京正值冬季，天气寒冷。非洲地处热带，在座的同事们可能没有经历过这样的寒冷，一定要注意保暖，保证身体健康，不要随意外出，注意人身安全。让我们高高兴兴的来，平平安安的回。

Third, pay attention to safety. It is winter in Beijing, and the weather is very cold. Coming from the tropical Africa, you may have never experienced such coldness. Please keep warm and healthy, do not leave the college at will, and pay attention to personal safety. I hope you come here happily, and return home safely.

最后，预祝培训班圆满成功。祝大家学有所获、学有所成！在北京期间学习愉快，生活愉快！
