On the morning of March 22, the delegation of three people including Deputy Team Leader of Entry and Exit Administration of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau (Shijingshan Branch)Lv Ou andDeputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office of North China University of Technology Xu Mei came to our school to guide the workregarding the training and management of international students and exchange their views. Deputy Directors of International Department of the school Meng Qing and Xie Ligao, Directors in charge of international student management Ma Jun and Chen Yang, attended the symposium.

At first, Deputy Director Meng Qing warmly welcomed the delegation of Shijingshan Branch and International Cooperation and Exchange Office of North China University of Technology, and thanked Shijingshan Branch for its long-term support and help to the work regarding international students and foreign teachers in our school, and expressed her gratitude to North China University of Technology for sharing experience this time. Deputy Director Meng Qing introduced the information of school, international cooperation and exchange as well as the work regarding international student managementin our school. She mentioned that North China University of Technology and Beijing Polytechnic College were close to each other, so the two ones had profound cooperation foundation and strong desire for cooperation.And she hoped to further exchange needs with close connection in the future, and jointly promote the high-quality and connotative development of international education.

Then, Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office of North China University of Technology Xu Mei shared the experience and practice of North China University of Technology in the training and management of international students, and put forward valuable suggestions on the system construction, enrollment, teaching and daily management for international students of our school. She said that the two schools had similar disciplines, unique features and strong complementarity, soshe hoped to take advantage of the symposium to further promote the in-depth cooperation and exchanges between the two ones and promote the mutual learning of international education between the two schools.

In the end, Deputy Team Leader of Shijingshan BranchLv Ou made a summary speech. She mentioned that the docking promoted the communication between the two schools of North China University of Technology and Beijing Polytechnic College.The symposium aimed to create a good foreign-related educational environment in Shijingshan District, regulate foreign affairs management, reduce the occurrence of foreign students’ violations of disciplines and laws, and jointly guarantee that foreign students could study and live at ease in China.

Accompanied by teachers from the International Department, the delegation visited the Sino-French College of Energy Efficiency Engineers, Automotive Practical Training Room and IBM Practical Training Room of the Electromechanical Engineering College of our school, and highly praised and affirmed the teaching mode integrating science and practice and high-quality conditions for practical trainingof our school.
