From November 17th to 20th, 2020 Fifth World Vocational Education Conference, co-sponsored by The Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education, China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd. and Messe Stuttgart, was grandly held in Haitian Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center, Qingdao.

As an outstanding representative of vocational colleges, BPC was invited to participate in the conference, and won the title of "The World's Top 50 Most Competitive Vocational Colleges in 2020" at the World Vocational Education International Summit, one of the important agendas of this conference. In the rating of excellent cases of international cooperation, BPC's case with the theme of "Cultivating Heart-to-heart ‘Belt and Road’ Builders and Establishing A New Model for China's Vocational Education Service Trade" stood out among many participating cases and was rated as a "Excellent Case of International Cooperation of Vocational College ". Winning these two awards adds another fruit to BPC's construction of a high-level vocational college with Chinese characteristics.

During the conference, an achievement display of Sino-foreign cooperation in Chinese vocational colleges was also held. BPC carefully arranged the content of the display, and through various methods such as exhibition boards, videos and face-to-face communication, it comprehensively demonstrated BPC’s international education characteristics and achievements of recent years in terms of vocational education “Going Global”, overseas cooperative education, cultivation of foreign students, construction of Confucius classrooms for vocational education, "Belt and Road" talent training base, "Chinese + vocational skills" training, and serving the country's "Belt and Road" construction, which attracted exhibitors and the wide attention of the professional audience from colleges.

BPC actively serves the national "Belt and Road" development strategy. As a talent training base for Beijing's "Belt and Road", BPC carried out multiple batches of training for overseas employees to China, cultivated professional skills for countries along the "Belt and Road", and assisted the development of overseas enterprises. BPC actively participates in the vocational education "Going Global" project of Ministry of Education, sends teachers overseas to carry out skill training, formulates and exports professional standards, promotes China's vocational education to "go global", and contributes Chinese wisdom and Chinese experience to the development of localized vocational education in other developing countries. BPC actively explores new development models of Confucius Institutes, established the country’s first vocational education Confucius classroom, carried out "Chinese + vocational skills" training and "1+X" certificate pilot, promoting diversified international humanities exchanges, and having formed a good international influence.

More than 30 media reported on the grand occasion of the conference from various angles, 150 exhibiting companies and vocational colleges brought the construction achievements of vocational education industry and colleges, and more than 6,000 vocational college decision makers and professional audiences from colleges visited and exchanged the conference.
