Wandering Around China—Chinese Bridge “Chinese + Animation Production Technology” Online Group Exchange Program” 2023 Successfully Opened
On July 3, the online study camp of Wandering Around China—Chinese Bridge “Chinese + Animation Production Technology” Online Group Exchange Program” 2023, hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, Ministry of Education and undertaken by Beijing Polytechnic College, officially opened. Ms. Wumaliyong Guliqire, the Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Tajikistan in China and the representative of Tajikistan to the SCO Secretariat, Zhou Yan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of our College, Meng Qing, Director and Xie Ligao, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, Fang Yuan, Deputy Dean of the School of Information Engineering, the instructors of the study camp and all the students attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Meng Qing, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of our College.
Zhou Yan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of our College, extended a warm welcome to the guests and delivered a speech on behalf of the College. She said that Beijing Polytechnic College is rich in experience of “Chinese+TVET” training and has made great achievements. As a “culture bridge, friendship bridge and heart bridge” that connects China and the rest of the world, the “Chinese Bridge” program has become an incomparable and attractive language program throughout the world. The Wandering Around China online study camp, adhering to the principle of harmonious coexistence, aims to help foreign friends have a true understanding of China, speak Chinese fluently, tell Chinese stories and build a bridge of communication. She hopes that every student will develop their skills in the process of language learning and experience Chinese civilization containing both ancient and modern elements in the course of learning the lively and interesting animation production technology. She wishes a complete success of the study camp, and that all students will learn something and succeed.

Ms. Wumaliyong Guliqire, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Tajikistan in China, makes a speech
Ms. Wumaliyong Guliqire, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Tajikistan in China, made a speech. She said that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative of China, and she is very happy to participate in the event held by our College in this context. Tajikistan has all along supported China’s Belt and Road Initiative and actively participated in its co-construction. She spoke of Tajikistan’s geographical location at the crossroads of Asia and its possibility to serve as a bridge connecting China with neighboring countries. Tajikistan is ready to promote and expand the mutually beneficial regional collaboration and contribute to advancing the economic growth process and improving people’s well-being. She believes that it is very important to strengthen the cooperation in human resource development, education, vocational and professional training under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. Until now students from Tajikistan are studying in more than 120 universities in China. Tajikistan places great expectations on the mutually beneficial cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. She hopes that the students from Tajikistan and other countries will treasure the opportunity and make fruitful learning achievements.
After the opening ceremony, Meng Qing, Director of the InternationalDepartment, gave students the first lesson of the Chinese Bridge online exchange study camp, i.e., Introduction to Vocational Education in China”. The online study camp of Wandering Around China—Chinese Bridge “Chinese + Animation Production Technology” Online Group Exchange Program” is organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, Ministry of Education and undertaken by Beijing Polytechnic College. The training contents of the 8-day study campinclude Chinese, Chinese culture, animation production technology, etc. The faculty is composed of excellent professional backbone teachers from the School of Information Engineering and the School of Humanity, Law and Management of our College.The students are from Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Uganda and other countries. It aims to help overseas students learn Chinese, have an understanding of Chinese culture, master professional and technical skills in animation production, boostthe high-quality integrated development of “Chinese + TVET”, enhance the international influence of Chinese education brands, and lay a solid foundation for cultivating more versatile technical and skilled talents with advanced Chinese language competency and high degree of professional proficiency, so as to promote the people-to-people exchanges and ties among countries.
