He pointed out that the in-depth cooperation between China and Zambia in the field of vocational education is conducive to cultivating local young technical and skilled talents and promoting local economic and social development in Zambia. In order to solve the problem of lacking professional textbooks in Zambian vocational colleges, in 2019, BPC launched the compilation of a series of textbooks for the automation and information technology major for SZVCST. BPC innovated the mode of textbook compilation, organized a "project-based teaching" textbook compilation team, combined the major’s characteristics, designed loose-leaf content, and strived to enable learners to quickly grasp the theoretical knowledge and technology and skills of the major in a real project-based situation. The current series of textbooks for automation and information technology major has been officially published by the National Open University Press. Among them, CAD Drawing has been selected as a national level planning textbook for vocational education in China's "13th Five-Year Plan". In the future, BPC will forge ahead, dare to make breakthroughs and innovations, continue to share the vocational education "going out" textbook series with other countries along the "Belt and Road" route, cultivate more outstanding technical and skilled talents for countries along the route, and create the BPC brand of running schools overseas, share and popularize the BPC experience, and use the power of vocational education to help the economic and social development of the countries along the “Belt and Road” route.

BPC was selected in the first batch of pilot project colleges for vocational education "going global", and the first batch of Beijing “Belt and Road” National Talent Training Base Program. in April 2019, approved by Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA), BPC cooperated with China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, China Nonferrous Metals Mining (Group) Co., Ltd (CNMC) and many excellent Chinese vocational colleges and jointly established Sino-Zambian Vocational College of Science and Technology (SZVCST) in Luanshya, Zambia. SZVCST mainly provides higher education for Zambian high school graduates, and also provides skill training for employees of Chinese-funded enterprises, which can provide localized talent guarantee for China-Zambia production capacity cooperation. It also marks the opening of a new chapter in the cooperation between China and Africa in the field of academic education and vocational training.

BPC is responsible for the teaching and management of School of Automation and Information Technology under SZVCST. In order to improve the quality of talent training in SZVCST, BPC adheres to the "going global" and "inviting in" domestic and foreign dual-line talent training model. On the one hand, we sent outstanding key teachers to Zambia to provide technical and skill training; on the other hand, we received Zambian employees from CNMC to BPC for short-term training. In 2019, BPC launched the compilation of a series of textbooks for the automation and information technology major, focusing on launching a group of high-quality professional standards, curriculum standards and teaching resources with international influence, forming a replicable talent training standard system, and accelerating the promotion of China’s higher vocational education standards and the process of model export, so as to provide reference for Chinese colleges and universities in terms of "go global" education and teaching, and to enhance the influence of Chinese higher vocational education.
