From Nov 2-5, 2010, a delegation of BPC visited the University of Canberra, Australia by invitation. Our delegation was led by president Chen Jianmin, and also included professor Xu Weiyan, president of International Education school, He Jiwei, dean of the Career center, Xu Wenguang, dean of Admission office, and Wang Huaiqun, dean of Information Engineering department.
The University of Canberra, located in the capital of Australia, is one of the emerging universities in Australia, with which we established inter-school cooperative relations in 2009.
President Chen Jianmin discussed with University of Canberra leaders the possibility of further collaboration between the two universities. They both expressed their hope that more collaborations could be built in such areas as mutual recognition of credit, teacher training and academic exchange. They signed Inter-school Cooperation Agreement, which laid a good foundation for further cooperations.
